Las emociones frente a una pintura son privadas e íntimas

Una de las cosas que he aprendido a lo largo de mi vida es que más allá de razones o pruebas, las personas creen en aquello que desean creer, no importan los indicios, pruebas o razonamientos que puedan existir para reafirmar o negar sus creencias. Esto ocurre tanto en cuestiones religiosas como políticas, médicas o de la índole que fuere. Algunos le llaman vibración, yo no le he puesto nombre. Pero lo cierto es que he comprobado que nos movemos por emociones aunque algunos se empeñen en clasificarnos de racionales.

Con la pintura artística y el arte en general ocurre lo mismo. En ocasiones un cuadro nos cautiva aunque técnicamente no sea el mejor,  o una misma pintura hace reaccionar de manera diferente a los distintos observadores que se recrean en ella,  a unos les eriza la piel, les hace latir el corazón con fuerza e incluso consigue humedecer sus ojos, mientras a que a otros puede dejarles indiferentes.

 One of the things I have learned throughout my life is that beyond reasons or evidence, people believe in what they want to believe, no matter the signs, evidence or reasoning that may exist to reaffirm or deny their beliefs. This occurs both in religious and political, medical or whatever. Some call it vibration, I have not named it. But the truth is that I have found that we move by emotions although some insist on classifying us as rational.

With artistic painting and art in general, the same thing happens. Sometimes a picture captivates us even though technically it is not the best, or the same painting reacts differently to the different observers who recreate it, some bristle the skin, makes them beat the heart with force and even gets moistened your eyes, while at others you can leave them indifferent
